Pete Doherty Loves Kate Moss’s Bones

Pete Doherty has hinted that his relationship with Kate Moss is not completely over, just “up and down”. In an interview with Jonathan Ross (Friday Night with Jonathan Ross) he said: "She's had enough, I think. I love her bones, I always will."

Doherty also claimed he’s “battling to beat drugs”. He told Ross: "For the first time in my life I'm upping the stakes in my battle against it." He’s currently tested twice a week for crack and heroin use and is determined to get clean: "Being clean means I can sit down and rediscover writing. My song-writing suffered, being on drugs."

Former best mate and Libertine Carl Barat would agree. Doherty robbed his house in 2003 after being ousted from the band for drug abuse. In hindsight Pete realizes that his 6 month jail sentence (reduced to 2 months on appeal) was: “the cleanest I found myself - even though jails are riddled with drugs.”

I think he really means it this time. Just to be sure though, maybe we should send him on an all-you-can-inject holiday to Afghanistan. He could take one of Moss’s bones for company, maybe her shin, that way he could use the power of love to stave off temptation. If he’s still clean after 42 years then he should be allowed to return home and marry her magic bones.
