Avril Lavigne Loves Wang

Canada's favourite punk midget has tied the knot. She married Sum 41 frontman, Deryck Whibley at a private estate near Santa Barbara, California yesterday.

Far from being a grubby festival of stripey pop socks and goth cakes, the couple went for an uber-traditional affair. The Associated Press reports:

"Lavigne wore a Vera Wang gown, carried white roses and was walked down the aisle by her father as Mendelssohn's "Wedding March" played".
