Babylina's First Picture!

After what seems like weeks of writing about Brad, Ange, Ange's dad and Jen we can finally look at something small and babylike: exclusive photos of baby Shiloh. Getty Images, arguably the world's largest photo agency, snapped up the images for an undisclosed sum and sold them on to People Magazine for a charity pleasing $4.1 million. What a shame Hello printed this picture first etc. Media types are making a tremendous fuss about the bidding process. Gawk at this thrilling compilation of events:

"..All the weekly magazine editors were summoned to the offices of the Getty photo agency at Canal and Varick late Saturday night... We were sequestered into separate and un-air-conditioned offices... The photos were shown to us around 10 p.m. to midnight, and then we had to submit bids by 6 a.m. Sunday morning. No one got any sleep at all, as it was a manic game of phone-tag to top each other's bids..."

'Un-air-conditioned' offices?' 'No-one got any sleep'? Every human rights official in the world should be dragged by the eyelashes to the scene of this heinous crime. You can only imagine the extent of the damage the lack of artificially cooled air has done to these poor photo editors. If I were them I'd form a union and sue Getty for sweat damages, sleep abuse and gross discomfort.
